  Since March 2026, the Basque Association of Oware and Strategic Games has been organizing games of the Nepalese game "Bagh Chal" in Bilbao and Sondika (Basque Country). Every year on May, they plan to organize the Basque Country Bagh Chal Championship in Bilbao, at the "Almirante" bar in San Ignacio. They also hold individual games and smaller tournaments in the Santutxu neighborhood of Bilbao and in the municipality of Sondika.
